The 40th Anniversary Yakima Valley Karate Tournament will now be being held on March 18th, 2017, which will be the 3rd weekend in March (rather than the 2nd weekend in March, which has been the regular home of the event in the past).
The change is coming due to another large event in Yakima being held the 2nd weekend of March, which was making hotel reservations much more difficult to obtain. The 3rd weekend is free and clear, which will make travel and accommodations much easier for out of town guests and competitors. Blocks of hotel rooms are currently being held for incoming participants and you can contact the the YSK team about rooms and accommodations by going to our contact form here. You can also download the preregistration documents here.
The location of the tournament will remain the same:
The Yakima Valley Community College gymnasium
S. 16th Ave. & Nob Hill Blvd.
Yakima, WA 98902
